Jonny Rosadino

am an enthusiastic and energetic facilitator of academic and personal growth. Over the past two years, I have served as a Math/Science Grade-Level Lead for Teach For America on Oahu, Hawaii. I have learned many lessons from my students, but the most important lesson I have learned is that students perform best when they are involved

Much of my approach to teaching comes from my study of psychology, biology, and human development. My core belief is that by capitalizing on the naturally occurring mental functions present in all humans, students can develop a love of learning, improved motivation, and increased self-efficacy. By acting as a guide, my aim is to unlock the natural curiosity present in all people, so my students can become efficacious and independent student-scholars.

We all want our kids to become great independent and critical thinkers. I believe when students learn to deconstruct problems into their independent parts, then reconstruct those pieces to form a solution, they gain deep understanding and take big steps into becoming better learners and thinkers.

My academic journey has not only shaped my perception of the world and values that I hold, but it has also challenged the foundational features of my identity formed in my childhood. I strive to keep an open mind, and to be a lifelong learner. I will strengthen and broaden the innate values and character traits that your child finds important so they can thrive in the environments they pursue."
